To me, it is important that I can show information / points of view that are not possible with the naked eye. Because there are valuable experiences, insights, knowledge, forms that are not immediately available. They are found in corners of nature, in details of plants, in minerals in stones and facets in grains of sand. It is my intention to present – through the medium of photography – intuitive observations, perceptions and presentations of the natural world which may have meaning and value to the spectators.” Maybe an ambitious intention, but I lean a little on Danish abstract painter Asger Jorn: “If you do not go to extremes, there is no reason to go.”
